Where is our Microsoft 365 data stored?

For Swiss companies, Microsoft hosts the data in its data centres in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva).

Should we still back up Microsoft 365?

Yes, it is recommended: a deletion, a mistake or ransomware can cause data loss, and a separate backup lets you recover it.
